Mr. Sylas ~ Brand New session

Mr. Sylas ~ Brand New session

This type of session was a new experience for me. I rarely get to do the journalistic form of photography. It's something I can hopefully do more of in the future! I'm so thankful I get to get to be apart of this family. They are just some of the best people you could ever know. Without stacy as my friend I would be lost. I am so glad I got to meet Mr. Sylas today and I am looking forward to watching him grow! ♥

Snow White

While I love all types of sessions I get to feel like I am in another worlds while photograph themed sessions. This session is from my recent snow white session. I hope you enjoy looking at the images as much as I loved shooting them!!! She couldn't have been more perfect in the part.

Welcome:

I am an artistic photographer meaning my style as a photographer leans more towards the heavier edits. There are wonderful photographers out there who do beautiful images and very little editing. I personally LOVE my style and what I do. It puts me at peace.

When choosing a photographer it is important to go off of your style and the work that is pleasing to your eye.  It's crucial that you and your photographer are both on the same page. If you don't see your style reflected in their work don't make an appointment hoping they can adapt to what you are looking for.

While price plays a factor into who you choose, do not let that be the only factor in your choosing process. Do they properly expose the skin or does it tend to have a yellow/orange/or red tint? When looking for the focus does the focal point seem clear and crisp? Does their editing style fit the theme in your home or wherever you would want to hang your images? If you go to the first person who has the lowest prices and gives you a disk to print at the local supermarket you are not getting the quality you deserve. (That will be a whole different blog post)

*Quick Note* Many photographers also offer payment plans!

Here are some of my before and after images to show how using the proper programs and tools can change the quality of an image. Even in situations that are not ideal, an image can be recovered and cleaned up to make a beautiful photograph. Choose a photographer that is experienced!
